Question:
I am looking at upgrading my axle. What equivalent do you have to an ak-lo u-35, pn 1441171AD. looking to upgrade from 3500lb to around 5000 lbs

Hey Mike!
It looks like you've got a torsion axle, so the closest we have as a replacement is the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # ASR5200S01 rated for 5,200 lbs.
The way the axle will move is similar to a standard torsion axle, but these use rubber springs on the upper and lower brackets, and a cross tube can be added between them to give some more bracing if desired.
What do you think about this alternative style?
