Finding a Replacement Axle for a 1995 TW122 Trailer

Updated 09/16/2025 | Published 09/03/2025

Question:

Greetings, Need to find out which axle would be needed for a trailer I’m buying. Axle is deflected anout 4 inches toward center of trailer. 1995 tw122 vin XXXX. Is it possible to straighten tube or replace just that portion or would whole assembly need changing? Any info you can provide would be appreciated. I don’t believe there is a dealer near my location. Thanks you

Hey Nick, thanks for reaching out!

Are you talking about the camber of the axle? Axles are supposed to have a bit of a bend upwards when unloaded because it will naturally straighten out when weight is placed on the axle.

I'm not sure what exact replacement axle will fit your trailer, but if you can give me the weight rating of your axle(s) as well as their hub face and sprig center measurements I can see if we have something that will work. You can find the axle weight rating on a tag in the middle of the axle.

Worst case scenario, we have the Timbren Kits like part # A35RS545E that only require the weight rating of the axle to be known, and then it replaces all of the suspension parts as well. It's a good alternative, but most people only go this route if they're wanting to switch up the suspension as well.

Is your axle like broken, or are you referencing the camber?

Turns out it was the camber. Compared front axle to back and they were the same. Thanks for the help!
