Question:
Hi, have Reese 20k hitch part 30083, will the M5 puck legs work for this hitch? If not, does Reese make a lug for this that will fit the puck system? Going on 2025 Chev 2500HD

Hey John, the Reese M5 leg kit you referenced does not work with the head of the 30083 Reese hitch you have already. There isn't a leg kit that would allow for this conversion but I do have an adapter that would work for you with the part # C88KR.
This will convert the pucks of your 2025 Silverado to the rail kit that your Reese slider hitch was designed to fit. Would that work or are you wanting a hitch setup that doesn't use an adapter?

Hey John, did the adapter I mentioned work out for your Silverado and Reese hitch setup, or are you still considering other options? I'm asking because your experience could really help others with similar setups.
