Nancy, there are two hitch pin holes on the # PH45NR : 2-1/2 inch and 4-3/16 inch back from the end of the shank. The pintle lock pin hole sits about 6-1/2inch back. This means the center of the hitch balls will be around 7" from the hitch pin hole closest to the shank end, or about 5-1/2" when using the next pin hole over.
Do you need that extra length to help with tailgate clearance?
