Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at the Patriot Hitches five way three ball mount for two inch hitches rated to 30,000 pounds with a nice black accent color. Now folks, the ball mount, as you know, will let you hook up your trailer to the tow vehicle and in this case the shank's gonna slide into a two inch by two inch hitch receiver and then your balls will provide the connection points for the trailer. Or in this case, if you have a lunette ring for a pedal hook connection, you have that option as well. Now you're gonna have a 5/8 inch hitch pin.
You get two of those included with the clips, one for each of those, and then you may have to move this rear one depending on when you rotate this for using it to line up holes that fit your needs. You also have a heavy duty D ring and pin and clip and everything that's gonna hold up nice to the elements. Everything here is a black cap powder coat finish. It's heavy duty carbon steel construction so you can be sure it's gonna last for years and years to come. Overall I got 12 inches long, on a width I got 7 5/8 inches tall.
And on the height from the bottom of this block here to the top of the ball, I got 7 5/8 that way as well. Now as far as the distance of the rear shank to the closest pin hole here on the side and top, I got 2 1/2 inches. And then from the center of this one back to the back, I got 4 3/16 of an inch on center. Now from the center of this hitch pin back to the back, I got 6 1/2 on center. So again, you've got a 2 5/16 inch ball, a two inch and a 1 7/8, the D-ring shackle, and the pintle ring attachment on top.
