Looking For New Spring Hangers For Tandem Axle Boat Trailer
Updated 09/04/2025 | Published 08/31/2025 >
Question:
I have a tandem axel boat trailer. 3,500lb axels. The brackets where the leaf springs attach to my trailer are nearly rusted away. Is there a product that I can use instead of having a repair shop weld a new bracket on?

Hello James, thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you are needing new spring hangers for your trailer. We do sell replacement hangers, but they will need to be welded on. There is no alternative for this, so you will need to find a shop that can weld new ones on for you.
As far as finding the correct hangers, you will want to measure the current ones. Measure from the top of the hanger to the center of the bolt hole. Let me know that measurement and I am happy to look into it and see if we have anything to match.
For example, the Front/Center/Rear Hanger for Double-Eye Springs # 28-5 is 3-1/4" tall.
Your leaf springs are double-eye leaf spring correct?
