Can this be painted to match the color of the truck?

Hey Joe,
You could paint the Aries Headache Rack # AA1110201 if you wanted to. It is a chrome powder coat finish so you would need to sand it down in order to prep it to be painted. Keep in mind I do not know if this would void any warranty it may have, but it is possible to do.
