Question:
I heard from Wild RV Life on YouTube that you guys could solve my problem. I have a 2018 Highland Ridge open range ultra light 2710RL. I want to change the battery from standard acid lead to my new.Litime 14.8v 100ah lithium smart battery. My current power converter is a WF-9865 and I need help on it’s replacement to allow for the lithium battery. A model that provides the necessary charging profile for a 14.8V lithium battery without requiring any changes to my current setup. Please help.

Hey Wayne, to replace your WF-9865 converter you have I recommend the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger # PD79RR. This converter is compatible with lead acid, AGM, and LiFePO4 batteries and has a 60 amp converter rating. It installs the same way so this will be an easy swap out of your current converter that won't require any additional changes.

Hey Jameson, is there a less expensive option? Like an older model that would work as well? I only need it to work with lithium and not lead or agm. It’s an older RV, so I’m trying to save for my next camper with the higher end model.
