Less Expensive Kayak Trailer than CE Smith # CE48870

Question:
Yikes, 2 grand to haul a boat I barely paid 800 for?? I reckon Ill just keep putting it in my truck bed. Dont me wrong, it looks like a great product, it looks well made and durable but it would be like putting 2k worth of mag wheels on a beat up old Yugo.

Hey Malcolm, I totally understand the sticker shock of the CE Smith kayak trailer part # CE48870. Only similar option we have that costs less is the Malone EcoLight part # MAL73FR but I totally get preferring the truck bed method!

Hey Malcolm, did you decide to stick with using your truck bed for hauling your boat, or did you consider the Malone EcoLight trailer? I'm curious because your experience could help others in a similar situation.
