Can I back up with the toad hooked up if I’m careful?

Sheila, unfortunately not. Like all tow bars, the 10k rated Curt Seeker # C32HB can’t handle backing up. Even a short attempt can bind the arms and damage the bar or your base plates. If you need to reposition, the safest move is to disconnect the toad first. We have seen damaged arms over the years from this exact scenario, so be mindful!
What kind of places are you typically camping at - big RV parks or tighter forest service roads?
