Does Curt Seeker Tow Bar Require Yearly Maintenance To Keep It Nice?

Question:
What kind of maintenance does the Seeker need? I flat tow it 10,000+ miles a year.

Doug, the Seeker tow bar # C32HB is sealed pretty well, but Curt does recommend some upkeep (as does every tow bar manufacturer). After each trip, wash it with warm soapy water and let it dry. Every 1,000 miles, check torque on the fasteners and hit the inner rods with a light coating of grease. The rubber bellows keep grit out, but if they ever crack, replace them right away. With your mileage, staying on top of that will give you years of solid use. Just remember that maintenance is key as a lot of folks don't take care of these nice products. Sounds like you'll be on top of though since you're asking.
How often are you usually out on long tows - monthly? Year round?
