Weight of the 1K Dutton-Lainson Boat Trailer Jack w/ Wheel

Updated 09/14/2025 | Published 08/17/2025

Question:

What is the weight of the DL22507 to the nearest tenth of a pound? I want to carry one on a motorcycle to help pick the heavy bike up when it falls over, but I don't want to carry anything very heavy. Thanks.

Hey Mike, thanks for reaching out!

The Dutton-Lainson Boat Trailer Jack w/ Wheel # DL22507 weighs in at 17.203 lbs.

Where do you plan on installing the jack to help lift the bike up? Does that happen very often, or do you just like to be prepared for all circumstances?

Hey Mike, did you find a good spot on your motorcycle to install the jack for lifting it up? I'm curious because it could help others who want to be prepared for similar situations.

I decided that all the trailer jacks were too heavy to carry along on a bike. I developed a 3 pound solution for standing a bike back up that l'm to apply for a patent for. Thanks for your help with the trailer jacks.
