Looking To Replace My Trailer Axle That Is 64" Hub Face, Do You Carry A Replacement?
Updated 09/12/2025 | Published 08/18/2025 >
Question:
Good morning, I am replacing a torque axel. Of course bent spendals, the measure from hub to hub is 64 in. Wanting to use a 4 inch 35k axel. What length should I get to replace it. Of course a axel kit is in mind. Thanx Harry

Hey Harry,
The most important thing when replacing an axle is getting the exact same size as your original. If the hub face, or spring center measurements are off it could throw off the layout of your suspension and cause more issues. With your hub face measurement being 64" the closest we carry is a 60" hub face with a 48" spring center. We do not have an axle that is the same hub face measurement as yours. I would recommend reaching out to Dexter, they still make custom axles and will be able to get you the exact size you need. You will want to make sure you get your spring center measurement as well to get the correct size.
