Question:

Im looking for a solution to mount a folding step stool / small ladder to my Yakima Overhaul HD Siderails with t-slots. Something like the Rhino-Rack Folding Ladder Brackets for Pioneer Platform Rack Part Number: RRRUFLB or the Front Runner Outfitters Rack Ladder Side Mount Bracket SKU: RRAC269 My problem is they both mount to the stop of the rack.. not the side rails. Any suggestions?

That's a great question, Wells!

After some digging around on our site, I couldn't find anything definite for both the Front Runner part and the Rhino Rack part # RRRUFLB. So after some pondering for an alternant solution, I struck gold! At least I hope so. Part #RRRMPHU is a pretty universal part that is t-slot compatible (including the ones on your Yakima OverHaul HD Siderails) and has an adjustable strap so should work really well for a small ladder or that stepping stool.

@GwendolynY Sort of. It held it in place against the yakima side bar, but the arms/sides weren't really deep enough to be trustworthy to hold it there on the road. At the end of the day, I just chose to use 3 lashing straps. That worked INCREDIBLY well.
