Question:
I am looking for a trailer brake assembly, free backing, that is 10inch in diameter and uses 2 1/4inch brakes. I have looked at your web site and I found brake assemblies with 4inch spaced backing plate mounting holes. However, the mounting holes on myTrail-rite boat trailer axle are spaced at 2 7/8. What brake assembly product or part # would I choose for this latter type of brake assembly?

The four inch spacing mentioned in the product descriptions is measured diagonally, but the side to side spacing is 2-7/8 inches, which is standard for a brake mounting flange on a 3500 lb capacity axle (see photo.)
If you click the link, you can see the free backing hydraulic brake assemblies we offer for a 3500 lb axle.
The Titan 10x2-1/4 inch Free Backing Hydraulic drum brake assemblies, part # T4071500 for the right side and # T4071600 would be a good choice.
