Expert Reply:
We do have two Draw-Tite hitches, the Draw Tite brand # 76156 and the # DT65MR for your 2019 Toyota Highlander with the part Draw-Tite # 76156 which is a bit more hidden and also the # DT65MR which is a bit more visible from the rear of the vehicle. So on the # 76156 the hitch opening is attached to the bottom of the cross tube which allows only the hitch opening to be visible beneath the vehicle whereas the etrailer # DT65MR has the crosstube attached to either side of the hitch opening and therefore hangs a bit lower. See attached pictures and notice how much of the hitch you can see in either.
The advantage of the Draw-Tite # DT65MR though is higher towing capacities as it is rated for 900 lb tongue weight and 6,000 lb total trailer weight and the # 76156 is rated for 500 lb tongue weight and 5,000 lb trailer weight. So the trade off is the one looks nicer and the other has more capacity. Now that said your vehicle is only rated for 5,000 lbs so the easy choice is the more concealed hitch! With any towing setup you are only as strong as the weakest component which in this case would be the vehicle.
