Replacement RV AC Unit for 2013 Evergreen Evelite with Coleman Mach 15
Published 08/12/2025 >
Question:
Hi. I own a 2013 Evergreen Everlite 29ft travel trailer which is in need of a new roof top ac. The current ac is an Airxcel, model no. 48254B879, serial no. 081122611. It is ducted and shares the control unit with a propane heater. Which of your Advent ACs do you suggest for me ? Im living in Canada. Thanks.

Hey Jurgen, looks like the Airxcel model you have is a Coleman Mach 15 with a 15k BTU rating so for an Advent Air unit to replace that I would go with a 15k rated unit as well like the # ADV92SR which is designed for ducted applications like yours. The thermostat that comes with it is compatible with propane heaters as well. How did you like the Coleman?

Hi Jameson. A question: The provided wall thermostat, will it completely replace my existing wall thermostat, I mean, will it also control the propane heater? Thanks.

Hi Jameson, thanks for your reply. The existing ac only worked once, about three years ago. Being in Nova Scotia/Canada we normally don't need an ac. When we needed it now, it onlly makes noise (loud humming). Went on the roof, opened it up....completely rusted. So, to answer your question, can't say. I will visit your website and will try to locate your suggested unit. Thanks.
