Question:
Im looking to purchase a soft roll-up tonneau cover. I have a 2020 Ram 3500 dually and am trying to determine if I should purchase an inside rail tonneau cover or an above rail tonneau cover. Im pulling a 2019 Montana 331RL with a standard king pin using the BandW 25K 5th wheel hitch. I want to ensure I have the appropriate inside rail or above rail clearances when pulling the 5th wheel RV.

Hi David!
It looks like the top of the bed rails on your 2020 Ram 3500 dually will be 20.2 inches from the bed. The highest a 25k B&W 5th wheel hitch (like the # BWRVK3600) can be is 19 inches. This will give you a little over an inch to work with if you have it set to its highest setting. With that said, we have a lot of options available that will work for you. You didn't mention your bed size or if you have the RamBoxes, so I included the ones I like below:
8 Foot Bed - Inside Bed Rails:
Access LiteRider Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover # A55VR
8 Foot Bed - Top of Bed Rails:
TruXedo TruXport Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover # TX248901
6 Foot Bed w/RamBoxes - Inside Bed Rails:
TruXedo Lo Pro Soft Roll-up Tonneau Cover - Black # TX547901
(there are no top of bed rail options for the RamBoxes as they would be covered)
6 Foot Bed w/o RamBoxes - Inside Bed Rails:
Access LiteRider Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover # A34259
6 Foot Bed w/o RamBoxes - Top of Bed Rails:
TruXedo TruXport Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover # TX246901
All of these are American made options, but I prefer the Access covers. I have had very good interactions with their Customer Service team and I know they test them pretty hard as they are in North Dakota. I included a picture of this testing they sent me a while back, and yes, that is their soft roll up cover under all that snow.
Are you wanting the cover just to protect your hitch when not in use?

Hi David, Did you decide on an inside rail or above rail tonneau cover for your Ram 3500? I'm curious if the options I suggested worked out for you, as it could help others in a similar situation.
