Lift Kit Recommendation for 2014 Jayco HT
Updated 08/12/2025 | Published 08/08/2025 >
Question:
I pull a 2014 Jayco HT 5th wheel behind an F350 3/4 ton pickup. It sits slightly nose high. My drive incline is sharp, breaking right at the roadway. Once the truck is fully onto the drive, the bend/hitch angle causes the Jayco to drag tail. I proposed a 2 lift kit but the tech I talked to said he wouldnt do it for safety reasons. Are the numbers within safety range for towing with the oversized truck or is he right? What other options do I have?

Hey Emil, a 2 inch lift would be a really great idea to help prevent dragging and also to allow the trailer to be towed level. Newer trucks keep getting built taller and taller so RVs that are about as old as yours end up being a bit nose high unless a lift is installed like the Correct Track part # RR55QX. I know the title this is for a triple axle but its the correct parts needed for a 2 inch lift on a tandem axle trailer. This is really only option you'd have.
