Question:
Installed a Gen Y fifth wheel hitch when I bought your new 2025 Alliance Avenue 32 RL. took it out over the July 4th week end, Found system chucking a lot. Just wonder if this normal break in or to light hitch Gen Y Mod. GH-8046AL. System bought and installed through dealer. Got feeling that its not what they do best. Would like more experience advice, Thought of you guys, Please Help Thanks

Hey Wayne, thanks for reaching out and providing all of the details!
It looks like they got you setup with the wrong size Gen-Y Executive for your 2025 Alliance Avenue 32 RL. According to the chart that Gen-Y made on how to select the correct pin box, you need the Gen-Y # GY33GR rated for 4.5K pin weight instead of the 3.5K pin weight that you got.
I'm attaching the chart that they gave us; basically you'll multiply the GVWR of your RV by 0.22, which in your case comes up to 3,080 lbs and puts you in that 4.5K tier.
I would reach out to that dealer and have them fix it for you. Since your system was underrated, the weight of the trailer was "too much" for it so the shock system was essentially non-existent and is why you experienced the chucking.
Do you have any other questions about it?
