Why Does RV AC Unit Run Fan All the Time
Updated 08/06/2025 | Published 08/04/2025 >
Question:
I got my air conditioner installed and went on a trip last week and discovered that the blower never turns off when the unit is set to air conditioner on. I contacted the manufacturer and was told that is how the unit is designed to operate. Im not really happy about that and was wondering if there is a different controller or thermostat that will allow the blower to turn off as it is fairly loud and quite bothersome to listen to all night long.

Hey Mark, I am sorry to hear about that. I know the Atwood AC units used to do this and it was super annoying and the reason given was that it was only way to circulate air over the thermostat to get an accurate reading. Is this the brand of AC Unit you installed or was it the Advent Air you ordered in June?
