Question:
I have a 2001 Trail-rite trailer with surge brake actuator and reverse lockout solenoid for disc brakes. I need to replace the actuator and reverse lockout solenoid. I have been so far unsuccessful in at locating replacement parts for this trailer and the manufacturer is no longer in business. Help.

Hello David, thanks for reaching out. We do have a surge brake actuator with lockout that should work for you. Take a look at the following:
- Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator w/ Electric Lockout - Disc - Zinc - 2" Ball - 7,000 lbs # DM62VR
This is designed to bolt on top of a 3" wide trailer tongue. It works with disc brakes and a 2" ball. It has a 7,000 lb capacity. I am not sure of the exact specs for your trailer, so if you can check and verify all this matches that will be great. As long as the tongue size, ball size, brake type and weight capacity match, you can be sure it will work for you.
If this does not match what you need just reply on this page and let me know. I am happy to continue to assist.
