Im looking to buy cross bars for my 2019 naked roof prius to mount a thule hullavator kayak rack. Which cross bars will work for the car and rack?

Hi Rachel!
With the Thule Hullavator # TH898 needing 4 to 8 inches of over hang to mount without hitting your vehicle, I put together a custom roof rack for your 2019 Toyota Prius with a naked roof. You didn't mention if you had a glass roof or not, but this will actually work with or without that, so no worries there!

Flush mounted roof racks for your Prius are 40 inches wide, so this being 14 inches longer will give you 7 inches (roughly) of overhang per side. That will be plenty of room for a Hullavator on each side if you ever wanted to!
What kind of kayaking do you do? My older brother instructed white water kayaking for a little bit in California, but I never got a chance to do it. I had enough trouble trying to stay upright on a surf ski and decided rough water stuff probably wasn't going to be for me. : P
