What’s the rain performance like on the NA49FR? I camp in Michigan and it gets soggy! Hello from Ann Arbor

Tina, this Napier SUV Tent # NA49FR made for the Midwest drizzle. The included rainfly covers the mesh roof completely, and the bathtub-style floor keeps water from seeping in. As long as you stake it out properly and tension the fly, you’ll stay dry even in extended rain.
One tip: if leaving the tent on the vehicle during the rain, make sure it is fully installed and slide as far up over the trunk door as possible and tightened as best as possible to the roof (or hood if you don't have crossbars).
What vehicle are you taking camping? You may end up wanting a trunk air mattress for more sleepers.
