Trying to Track Down Hub/Drums for Older Fleetwood Prowler
Updated 08/15/2025 | Published 07/21/2025 >
Question:
I have a 74 fleet wood prowler single Elle trailer that the brakes are locking up. I think it may be bad drums…. The drum markings say it’s a Fayette 9230 W-1 it’s a 4 lug Assy . I can’t seem to find this , is there a new replacement?

Hey Sherrill, hub components that old are really hard to track down. It wasn't until basically the late 90's things got more or less standardized. We don't have anything that cross references with the info you listed but there is small chance if you pull a hub and get me the bearing numbers or the spindle dimensions where the bearings ride I could find something that would work. Also if you have the axle capacity that would work too.
