Replacement Disc Brake Actuator For Boat Trailer Weighing 5,000lbs In Salty Climate

Question:
Will this work in saltwater? I'm in Cape Coral and my boat and trailer weigh about 5k lbs. Old one was rated for 7k or 7.5k lbs.

Yes it will, Jim. The zinc-plated housing on the DA75 Demco Disc Brake Actuator # DM33CV is specifically designed for marine use, and it holds up well in salt. Just rinse after launching, and it should last you a long time.
It's also rated for 7,500lbs which is more than enough for your setup.
I was actually just in Naples, FL for vacation earlier this month. I was basically in your neighborhood!
