Can Ductless Furrion Chill Cube RV AC Unit Be Used with Furnace Thermostat

Question:
I am considering replacing my Furrion 15K Chill non-ducted ac on my 2024 Surveyor 202RBLE because it is very loud. I would like buy the Furrion Chill Cube 18K non-ducted unit. Can this be connected to the present wall thermostat to use the furnace, while using the new remote control to operate the ac? What parts do I need to make this happen? Thanks.

Hey Bruce, so the Furrion Chill Cube part # FR27TD would work well for you but it doesn't have ability to work with any other thermostats than the ones it was designed to work with. Also worth mentioning this kit doesn't have a wall thermostat and is designed to be controlled by the thermostat that is in the vent assembly or the included remote. You could keep your current thermostat and let it control the furnace.
