Hey Shelly! You have a few options to use your 2014 Forest River Wildcat Maxx 293REX with the gooseneck hitch in your 2007 Ford F-250. The first is an adapter like the Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter # AM3100 you looked at. This will bolt onto the king pin on your pin box and allow you to hook up to the gooseneck ball in your truck.

The second option is to use a 5th wheel style hitch like the Andersen Aluminum Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection 2 Gooseneck # 3220. This hitch attaches to your gooseneck ball, much like a regular 5th wheel hitch, and then connects to your pin box with an additional adapter. It also has an offset to help with clearance.

The third is to replace the pin box with one like the Reese Goose Box # RP85FR. This is a shock absorbing pin box with an air bag so it will also improve your ride. It is typically the most expensive option but worth it in my opinion for the better towing experience. You will need to identify your current pin box bolt pattern if you want to go this route. This model fits Lippert 1621, 1716, 0719, Rhino, and Fabex PB 600 series pin boxes. If you can send me the S/N off of your pin box sticker I can use that to identify it and find the right fit.

Any big trips coming up with your Wildcat Maxx 293REX?
