Great question, Travis. With the rack folded up for storage, the Outpace 2 Bike rack # TH39SA only adds about 10 inches to the back of most SUVs, and about 27" total when folded down for use. That’s compact enough for most garages, especially on SUVs like a Forester or Highlander. Most SUVs like this are around 15 or 16 feet long, and most standard garages are about 20 feet deep minimum. This means you should have PLENTY of room regardless.

If you have a Suburban or Wagoneer, you'd wont to make extra sure since those are nearly the size of a small bus.

No matter what you have, I'd still recommend measuring your space just to be sure, but this rack is one of the best bets for low-profile storage.
