Question:
I am thinking about a Shocker Hitch for my 2022 Airstream 25FBT. Can you recommend the correct sizing and ideally one that is compatible with my Equalizer sway control system I am currently using. Thanks!

Hey Douglas,
There is a Shocker Hitch that can be used with your weight distribution system. The Shocker Air Equalizer # SHK68VR is a shocker hitch shank that allows you to attach your weight distribution hitch to it to tow. It slides into a normal 2" receiver on your vehicle and then you would hook up your system to it. It works with every weight distribution system except for the Curt TruTrack system so you would be all set to go.
Let me know what you think of that Shocker Hitch. How often do you tow?

Thanks! We tow 6+ times per year, and just came back from a 4k mile trip. My goal here is to lessen the wear/tear on the camper (concerned about Airstream front end separation) and possibly a bonus of a smoother tow. I am going to do some more research, if you think of a better hitch to recommend to achieve, appreciate your recommendation. Thanks!
