Hey Paul, yes the Active Controls ActiveStart Plug-In Soft Start # AS44FR will work just fine with an automatic transfer switch. You'd want to run it after the transfer switch.

I should have included the fact that I’m looking for plug in soft start functionality for a 2023 Thor Acis with a built in automatic transfer switch.

I have a 2013 heartland landmark mesa and i believe it has a transfer switch. It is a 50amp 5th wheel and i am stationary with a 30amp power source. i want to know if this device will work with a transfer switch and a link to how to install it. Is it still plug and play with a transfer switch? Will it run my 2 15,000 btu units at the same time? Thanks so much, Willow
