Can Thule RodVault 2 Fishing Pole Carrier Be Mounted Underneath Crossbars?

Silly question but can I mount the RodVault 2 underneath my roof bars for garage clearance?

Good question, Miguel. Technically, the RodVault 2 # TH34FR23YR was designed to mount above the bars, but yes, you can hang it below if you have the clearance. Keith in Virginia mounted his RodVault 2 below his Rhino-Rack Aero bars on a Jeep Gladiator's ladder rack to clear a 7foot garage opening. Just keep in mind: you’ll need 8-1/2" inches of clearance below the bars, and you’ll be working upside-down to access your gear.
This really would only work if you have a ladder rack or really tall crossbars.
