Question:
How big should my battery bank be to pair with the RS67VR? MPPT controller is capable of handling high input and makes expansion easy later.

Expert Reply:
At 1,200 watts, the Rich Solar 6 panel kit # RS67VR can generate about 90–100 amps of usable charge in a single sunny day. To take advantage of that, we’d recommend a minimum of 300–400Ah of lithium or 500–600Ah of AGM, but ideally you’d have 600–800Ah to really store and use the full output.
The nice thing is, the included MPPT controller is capable of handling high input and makes expansion easy later. This is much more efficient and user friendly than the older style of PWM (pulse width modulation) controllers.
What batteries did you have in mind?
You could use two of the Rich Solar Alpha 2 Pro Lithium Battery 200AH # RS84VR wired in parallel (12v, 400ah) for a nice setup.
