Question:

I am searching for a replacement controller Which I understand may require the touchpad to be replaced as well for a Powergear #500457. I know my part is obsolete, and am unsure of what to do for a replacement.

To replace your Power Gear controller #500457 you will need the Replacement Lippert Power Gear Manual Leveling Control Kit # LC359259. This will give you a new touchpad controller and the wiring necessary to work with your system.

I have a Fleetwood motor home that has a manual POWER GEAR leveling control #500457. Everything works fine except the right rear leg won’t go down. I checked the fuse but on the right rear fuse, I have no power on either side of the fuse. I think I need to replace the controller but I was wondering if I supplied power to the fuse would it work? I understand that this unit #500457 is discontinued and is to be replaced by LC359259 I believe it also is very expensive.
