Will the Locking T-Shaped Handle Replace a Southco 92-50-115-10?

Question:
Hi, will this work as a replacement for the Southco 92-50-115-10 Can Latch T-Handle? Does it come with the backing plate? My existing screw holes are approximately 1 1/2 “ apart. Thanks,

Hey Darren. I don't have any dimensions on the Southco 92-50-115-10 but I can give you the measurements I do have on the Locking T-Shaped Handle item # 37210885 so you can compare them to yours.
The mounting holes on the bracket are spaced apart by 1-1/2", on center. The handle base measures 1-1/4" tall x 2-1/4" wide and the pin measures 3-3/4" long x 1/4" wide x 1/4" thick. The item # 37210885 comes with everything you see in the picture below.
What's do you need a replacement latch for?
