Recommended Subermersible Strip Light to Light Up Path When Backing Boat Trailer
Updated 07/16/2025 | Published 07/11/2025 >
Question:
I have a very long driveway that I have to back down at night when pulling my boat. Would the ILL70CSB make a good back-up light on my boat trailer. Would they be bright enough? I would want one on both left and right side of trailer. Thanks

Hey Gary. The Opti-Brite LED Interior Strip Light w/ Switch item # ILL70CSB would definitely brighten up the path behind and around your boat trailer. It has 9 diodes which offers 189 lumens. The light measures 9-5/8" long x 1" wide x 5/8" thick and are submersible. The mounting holes 9-1/8" apart on center.
What kind of boat trailer do you have?

It’s a standard outboard boat trailer. Boat is 16’ so trailer is probably 20’. Single axle non trailer brakes. Easy to pull and back-up unless it’s a long dark driveway. Thanks for the reply. gm
