Is it Normal For Firestone Air Bag Brackets To Install At An Angle?
Updated 08/07/2025 | Published 07/11/2025 >
Question:
Hi I have a truck that has the Firestone air ride suspension. It seems to have a bottom support bracket F2135825842 and was wondering if you can confirm this is installed correctly or if it needs to be adjusted or replaced because it seems to be at an angle. I can provide pictures of how the suspension sits normal and with a load. Thank you

Hello Manuel, thanks for reaching out. It is pretty common for the brackets of a Firestone Air Bag kit to install at a bit of an angle. I did a set on a coworkers truck about a year ago and the way it installed left the brackets on both sides a little crooked. They are still using it without issue.
There is no way to add pictures on here but you can email them to me at [email protected] and I am happy to take a look.

Hey Manuel, how did it go with your Firestone air ride suspension? Did you find that the angle of the brackets affected the performance, or did everything work out fine? I'm curious because your experience could really help others with similar setups.
