What’s the best spot to mount the override button remote ?

Hey there Brianna, the Redarc Tow-Pro Link Bluetooth Brake Controller # RED57AR can be mounted just about anywhere in the cab where there is a hard surface like plastic or vinyl. Most mount it on the dash or center console area. The nice thing about it is that it's not permanent; if it ever needs to be moved or cleaned, the sticky adhesive can be washed with water and once it dries, it will be as sticky as new!

Here is a photo of the remote installed in the center area of a newer vehicle. What vehicle do you have?

Hey Andrew, I have a 2022 Toyota Tacoma. Do you know if there's a recommended mounting spot for that specific vehicle that won’t interfere with other controls?

@Fred Hey there, I looked up some photos of the interior of that truck, and you should have a few blank switch mount locations on the driver side dash, unless you have a high trim level that fills in that entire panel. Another option is the kick panel by your knees, but you'll need to run the usb cable over so that might be annoying. I think you may have good luck mounting it in the center console compartment since there is a usb port in there.
