Can Advent Air RV AC Replace Dometic Duo-Therm

Question:

I need to replace a Dometic Duo-Therm Model # 459516.711C0. (Outside part of this unit). Will the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner Setup # ACDOM150 work with my existing inside part of the unit, as well as the CT Single Zone Thermostat? Does a seal for the outside come with this?

Hey Tina! We no longer have that AC system since it is the old R410A refrigerant which was discontinued and sold out. Everything has moved to R32 to comply with EPA regulations which requires replacing the air distribution box and furnace as well.

Even if we had the old ones, we stopped recommending them because of compatibility and warranty issues. You wouldn't be too happy if you swapped the old AC unit and it burned up your ADB and you were left with a system that didn't work. For a complete replacement from Advent you need the following:

-Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 15,000 Btu - White - R32 # ADV92SR

I have a 2013 Open Range 5th wheel RV. It's 42' with 5 slide outs.

@TinaB awesome, hopefully you're able to get out and enjoy it this summer! I just noticed I forgot to mention it does have a seal/gasket on the bottom so you don't have to worry about replacing that separately.
