Which Torflex Lift Kit Fits 2021 Diamond Cargo Trailer with 3,500 Torflex Axle
Published 07/01/2025 >
Question:
I have a 2021 Diamond cargo trailer with twin Torflex axles on it. There is no info tag on the axles, so I emailed the manufacturer with the VIN number asking if they were 10 or 11 axles. Their response was: 96-80 3500 lb. torsion w/electric brake. Would part K71-707-02 be correct for these axles?

Hey Mark, yes the Torflex lift kit part # K71-707-02 that you referenced would be the correct lift kit to use for your trailer. What you have is the #10 axle based on the capacity so this is correct fit and will give you a lift of 2-5/8 inches. Are you wanting just a little more ground clearance?

Yes, as built the trailer rides pretty low and gives me issues when towing behind a motorhome. The length of the rear overhang of the motorhome combined with the low hitch height makes it too easy to drag the hitch or the tongue jack when you encounter a driveway or other modest incline.
