Availability Of Replacement Circuit Board For Hydrastar EOH Actuator

Question:
I bought a 2000 Bloomer GN Trailer that has EoH brakes. Unfortunately, it was not disclosed to me that the brakes didnt work on the trailer. The only way we found out was it didnt register on the 2018 Ram truck used to haul it. When I called the dealer, they said if I had an old brake controller, the electric brakes work fine. Come to find out the circuit board is burned out but the motor is fine. This is a Carlisle HBA-CAM 381-7063. Is there any way to get a new circuit board for this model or can you suggest a good replacement? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Hey Karla, thanks for reaching out. There are a few things I want to mention here. First is the OEM brake controllers on Ram trucks are notorious for having issues with OEH brakes and in a lot of cases they are not compatible. Sometimes the # HBA-CAM adapter can correct this but in most cases the best solution is to simply use an aftermarket brake controller that is EOH compatible. The Tekonsha P3 # 90195 is OEH compatible.
That said, if you are needing a new circuit board for your actuator, I am sorry to say we do not offer any replacement parts for these. You could try reaching out directly to Hydrastar to see if they can provide instructions for replacing it. Otherwise the only solution I can offer would be a whole new actuator.
