Hey Wade, thanks for reaching out!

To upgrade your 8K Dexter Axle to disc brakes, I recommend picking up the DeeMaxx Disc Brakes which comes with either 9/16" Studs # DE63AR or 5/8" Studs # DE93AR depending on what you're needing.

I really like the DeeMaxx kits because they use a better coating than most other brake companies out there; they boast an impressive over 1,000 hours salt spray rating that I have yet to see another brand come close to matching.

What do you think about these kits?

Thanks for the suggestion. I will measure the existing studs when I get back tomorrow. Will the kit come with the master cylinder and tubing/hoses?

@WadeP These kits come with the hub/rotor and the brake caliper portion. What actuator do you currently have? I just realized I forgot to reference a more powerful actuator that can apply enough pressure for disc brakes. Depending on the model, we might just need to swap out a little part of it.

Currently it has electric drum brakes. So I believe no actuator.

@WadeP Ah, that makes sense - sorry for not asking for all of the details initially! In that case, you'll also need the DeeMaxx Alpha G1600 Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator # DE47SR and the DeeMaxx Hydraulic Brake Line Kit # DE57SR, provided the 20' of main brake line is long enough for your RV.
