Question:
Im looking for a rear hitch for my 98 Safari Class A Magnum chassis that will handle 1000 lbs tongue weight. This is to carry a motorcycle on a rack I already have the rack. Do you have something youd point me to? Thank you.

Hello Mike, thanks for reaching out. We do offer a couple universal hitches for RVs but nothing with a 1,000 lb tongue weight capacity. For example, the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs # C13702 will fit frames between 18" and 51" wide. It has a 500 lb capacity.
There are universal hitches available with a higher capacity, but those options are intended more for pickup trucks, so we are a bit more limited with the frame width.
For example, the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41990-16 can fit frames up to 44" wide. It has a 1,600 lb tongue weight capacity and it can be bolted or welded on.
What is the frame width on your RV? Let me know because this will help to narrow down your options.
