Hey Eric, thanks for reaching out!
I recommend the Curt A16 Kit # C96JV for your 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500. This fits whether you have the Classic or New Body, and it comes with the rails needed to secure the 5th wheel hitch to your truck. This is a stationary hitch, but it will still give you the clearance you need (for a long or short bed) as long as your 5th wheel RV has a tapered nose as opposed to the old "squared" style.
Something else you might consider picking up is the 7-Way Kit # C56070 so you can have easy access to an additional 7-Way in the bed of your truck.
What 5th wheel will you be towing?
