Upgrading Leaf Springs and Wet Bolt Kit for Heartland Sundance Trailer

Updated 09/02/2025 | Published 06/24/2025

Question:

Hello I have a Sundance by heartland I’m looking at installing a leaf spring kit. My axles are GAWR - 5200lb my currant springs are 4 leaf 1 3/4” wide and I think 26” eye to eye. I’d like to get one that has the wet bolts and possibly see about upgrading the springs. Can you help me out with some part numbers.

Hey Anthony! I can definitely help you out with parts to accomplish this. For the leaf springs you can use the 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 6,000-lb Trailer Axles - 26" Long # e94SR. Double check that measurement just to be sure. Assuming it is 26" these will be a nice upgrade over the 5,200 lb without going overboard.

To find the right wet bolt kit you will need to measure your shackle straps center hole to center hole. If they're 2-1/4" you can use the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers # MR46ZR and for 3-1/8" # MR76ZR.

What kind of Heartland Sundance do you have? Let me know if you have any other questions down below.
