Troubleshooting Slide Out That Will Not Close

Question:
Hello, Montana 2611RL hydraulic slides will no close. they do open and jacks work up and down fine. when I open the orange line release value it will close when pressing in toggle switch. any knowledge of this would help

Hello Vince, thanks for reaching out. There are a few things you can look at if your slide out will not close.
The first thing is to reset the power by disconnecting your RV from shore power for a few minutes then plug it back in. Next check all your slide out fuses, and try resetting the breakers. Also make sure your battery is fully charged, and try resetting your slide controller.
If you try all of this and it doesn't fix the problem, it could mean your actuator is bad and needs to be replaced. Having an RV tech come out and take a look would be the best bet since you can't haul the trailer with the slides out.
