Question:

I need help making the ride on my 2019 Sunseeker Motor home more enjoyable. I’ve already have Firestone rear airbags bags and was wondering if you all supply air bags for the front suspension. The chassis is a Ford 450 super duty. I would appreciate any suggestions you might have All the best

Hey Scott, thanks for reaching out. We do have suspension enhancement options for your motorhome, but I have a few questions for you first to make sure we are getting you the right parts.

First, can you tell me the floorplan of your 2019 Sunseeker motorhome? I ask because a lot of the models I am seeing are on a ford E450 chassis so I want to be 100% sure we are looking at the right chassis model.

Also my other question is, what kind of ride quality problems are you experiencing? Are you having really bad body roll where it feels like the motorhome will tip over? Or are you having problems with the steering not being stable? Or if there is something else going on let me know. That will help me be sure I am recommending the correct product that will actually address your needs.

Hey Scott, did you have a chance to check the floorplan of your Sunseeker and think about the ride quality issues you're experiencing? I'm asking so I can help you find the right solution for your motorhome.

I really appreciate you getting back to me.. As for your 1st question regarding the body style of my 2019 Forester 24’ Sun seeker. The floor plan consist of 2 slide outs. The slide outs are for the bed and the dinning, on the driver’s side.It has a bath ,shower and dressing area located in the rear. The opposite side of the slide outs are comprised of kitchen and toilet room. The chassis is on a 450 chassis. As for your second question, the main problem with the ride regards the horrible shock we encounter when the rear dual wheels go over a bump. It feels like we get kicked by a mule. The body doesn’t feel top heavy or doesn’t sway in turns. I’ve followed some advise in regards to the rear Firestone air bags in hopes of softening the bumps and keep them inflated to 79 pounds, and also make sure my water tank is full when traveling and that seems to help cushion the rear hit somewhat. With that what would be your suggestion to make our ride more comfortable. I also failed to mention that we live in Alaska and we get huge frost heaves. If I am able to react in time which means slamming on the brakes is the only way to keep the vehicle from breaking in half. I met a gentleman with a class A home who was using your system and he explained to me how is motor home handled the heaves much better. After talking to this individual is why I’ve reached out to you.

@ScottB Have you tried reducing the PSI in your rear air bags? We really do not have any other product designed to address the problems you are having with the jarring when you hit bumps. 79 PSI in air bags is super high though. Typically people run like half that amount of PSI so I wonder if decreasing the PSI would help thing kick less. We do not have a front air bag kit for you motorhome. We do have front Sumo Springs like part # SSF-106-47. These may help absorb some shock in the front but really would not have much of an effect on the rear suspension.
