Question:

I am looking at Tireminder TM38FR for my trailers. I have a boat and rv. Can the repeater be mounted at the rear of the truck so I can use the system on both trailers would need to buy more sensors? Thanks Dave

Hey Dave! You can mount the TireMinder i10 TPMS # TM38FR repeater on your truck, that won't be a problem. The system supports up to 20 sensors so you can pick up some more for your additional trailer using the Flow Through Tire Sensors for TireMinder TPMS # TM66FR.

Any big trips planned with your RV and boat this summer?

Thanks Robin. .assuming I could tap into the wiring that exists for trailers on my truck (2022:Ram 2500 and it has a 4 pin and 9 pin connection)? If so which wire would be best to use to power the repeater?

@Dave that is a good question. I think the best option would be to add an in-line fuse and run it straight to the battery like you would an aftermarket 4-way. You might end up with errors on the truck if you tried to splice it into the trailer connectors since it is a newer truck and that would be a pain to deal with. I'm not sure what else will have dedicated 12V power for it at the rear. It will cost more money but you could also pick up a second # VAL29RB so you have one on each setup which would keep it off the truck.
