DOES this HAVE a mechanical thermostat and could it work on a ducted system? THANKS FOR YOUR ADVICE

Hey Terry, the Air Distribution Box for Dometic FreshJet 3 RV Air Conditioners # DMC79ZR that you referenced doe have a thermostat built into it but it was designed for ductless setups and not ducted.

THANKS JAMESON, so I guess then what I'am looking for is an a/c 15000, ducted, remote control, to replace a ge 15000 with a thermostat. Have went through 2 of these in 3 years, will try something different, recpro? furrion? Thanks again TERRY

@Terry I would highly recommend the Furrion Chill Cube part # FR69TD. It's more BTU at 18k but other than that it's what you mentioned wanting while also being the coldest blowing, most efficient, and quietest.
