How to Remove and Reinstall WeatherTech Bumper Topper on 2017 VW Golf

Question:
Bought you bumper topper for my 2017 GTI. I need to remount it. Do you have any directions for removal and remounting? What type of tape should I obtain for remounting? This is a new product and the mistake was mine installing the product on my car.

Expert Reply:
I spoke with WeatherTech, who told me you should be able to pry the topper off with your fingers. However, they don't offer the replacement double sided tape you'll need to reinstall it. They recommended that you trash the one you have and purchase a replacement.
If it were me, I'd go to an auto parts store and see if they have any double sided tape for automotive body trim and use that to re apply it.
